How to Judge a Horoscope - Vol. 1 - 2 Set

How To Judge A Horoscope (Volume 1) explains to readers how to accurately read a horoscope and apply it to their everyday lives.

Summary Of The Book

How To Judge A Horoscope (Volume 1) gives readers a practical insight into understanding a horoscope. This book concentrates on the first six houses that talk about the journey of a soul, beginning from birth. It makes astrology more accessible to the layman, with lucid and simple language. It moves away from the traditional methods of studying astrological charts.

The first house talks about a person's birth and goes further into childhood, development of mind and body, character formation in early years and more. The second house stands for one’s face, their manners, family, food and also the cause of death. In the third house, the bond between a brother and sister is discussed. It also focuses on other relatives in the family and gauges intelligence.

How To Judge A Horoscope (Volume 1) provides understanding of the fourth house stating that it represents peace, education, domestic life, and family property. The fifth house stands for one’s children, reputation, and emotional ties. The sixth house is essential for finances, and also has a hold over sickness, stress, and other negativity.

Every house has been thoroughly examined with the help of examples and illustrations. The charts in the book can be studied with ease, as the basic principles that govern the charts have been explained. It also talks about different combinations of the sun and planets, that can affect one’s personality or situation at that particular time.

How to Judge a Horoscope - Vol.2

This book is a departure from the conventional method of treatment of astrology. It is a study in the use of Horoscope in every man?s daily life. The work in two volumes is divided into twelve houses, containing six each in consecutive order. The twelve houses have reference to the material relation of soul (jeeva) in its journey from the cradle to the grave. The study of illustrations (charts) makes every point?even the omitted rudimentary principles and rules?very clear and graspable. Volume II deals with house VII to XII. The Seventh House represents wife, husband, marriage, sexual diseases, business partner, diplomacy, talent and general happiness. The Eighth House indicates longevity, legacies, disgrace, degradation and details pertaining to death. The Ninth rules father, righteousness, religion, fame, leadership, journeys and communications with spirits. The Tenth indicates occupations, profession, honours, foreign travels and means of gains, elder brother and freedom from misery. The Eleventh House refers to gains, elder brother, friends, acquisitions, freedom from misery, and happy tidings. The Twelfth rules losses, expendi-ture, sympathy, divine knowledge, moksha and the state after death. ? In this book, Dr. Raman provides an astrological treat to the practitioners and students of the science by detailing three hundred planetary combinations that point to the Yogas (fortunes) and aristhas (misfortunes) with 150 practical illustrations which he claims he had gathered from actual lives..?
