Think And Grow Rich, written by Napoleon Hill, is a self-help book that promotes the author’s philosophy of personal achievement. It deals with attracting wealth and success in any and every area of life. As part of his research for the book, the author closely interacted with numerous individuals who achieved tremendous wealth and success during their lifetimes. The renowned industrialist Andrew Carnegie also had a great influence on Hill, and subsequently on this book as well. The book provides 13 principles that can help the readers on their journey to achieve personal success. The primary philosophy given in the book is that any individual can reach the greatest of goals by eliminating all negative thoughts and nurturing positive ones. The first edition of the book was published in March 1937.
Napoleon Hill was a bestselling American author who primarily wrote on the subject of personal success. Some of his works include The Master-Key To Riches and The Law Of Success. He was born on October 26, 1883, in Southwest Virginia. Financial difficulties hampered his formal education, and he ended up withdrawing from law school. Hill eventually developed a philosophy that propagated the role of positive personal beliefs in manifesting personal success. Hill passed away on November 8, 1970.
