The Backbenchers is a series of books, about a group of students. The series is a coming of age story, as this group discover themselves through relationships, exams and adolescent issues.
The Backbenchers is written under a pen name, Sidharth Oberoi, by several writers from the Grapevine India community.
The first book of the series (The Extra Class) has been written by Durjoy Datta and Sachin Garg who have written eight bestsellers books between them.
